I was thinking today about what I should post about today, and I had a great wave of inspiration. Recently, on just one of the fashion blogs that I read on the internet, I found out some really shocking news that literally made my jaw drop to the table. The one and only, Adele, made a surprising appearance on the cover of the October issue of American Vogue! I thought I should definitely let you know about this readers, because Adele definitely made a statement with her shoot for Vogue and especially the cover where she doesn't even resemble herself!
What really shocks me is that Vogue picked her as their Covergirl. Adele is just not your usually stick-thin model types that appear on the cover or even in the issue itself, of Vogue. I think it's very special and quite right what Vogue did by picking Adele as their Covergirl for the Autumn issue, because Adele herself stated that her weight was never a problem and that is definitely a statement of a true icon.
I love Adele's soft look on the cover of Vogue and how it's only a head-shot, as it concentrates on Adele's face and hair the most. Simple, but beautiful.
